Heavy Haul Dynasty is expanding its hands-on training options to better prepare commercial drivers and entry-level mechanics for real-world work. Our new offerings include training and testing with innovative semi-tractors, optional manual transmission instruction, and an Entry-Level Heavy-Duty Mechanic training program focused on brake components and adjustment.

These programs support our commitment to practical instruction, workplace safety, and career readiness. Whether you are pursuing a Class A or Class B CDL, improving your manual transmission skills, or learning essential truck and trailer maintenance, our instructors provide training that can be applied directly on the job.

Real-World CDL Training With Multiple Trailer Types

All standard CDL training and testing will be completed using innovative semi-tractors equipped with six-speed synchronized transmissions. These transmissions allow students to focus on safe vehicle operation, inspections, backing, turning, road awareness, and other essential commercial driving skills.

Students will also gain experience with the types of trailers commonly used throughout the transportation industry, including:

  • Dry van trailers
  • Flatbed trailers
  • Gooseneck trailers

Training with real-world equipment gives students a better understanding of how different tractor-and-trailer combinations handle. It also helps them develop the confidence and practical skills needed to transition from CDL training into the workplace.

Additional Manual Transmission Training

Students and employers who need additional manual transmission experience can add specialized instruction for a fee of $1,500. This training is completed in semi-tractors equipped with unsynchronized six-speed or 10-speed transmissions.

Unlike synchronized transmissions, unsynchronized transmissions require the driver to carefully coordinate engine speed, vehicle speed, clutch operation, and gear selection. Dedicated instruction allows students to develop these skills under the supervision of an experienced trainer.

The additional manual transmission program is available in either an eight-hour or 16-hour format. The appropriate option will depend on the student’s experience and the efficiency-certificate requirements established by the student or employer.

Students may complete this training before or after their Class A or Class B CDL training and testing. This flexibility makes the program useful for new drivers, existing CDL holders, and employers who want team members to receive additional hands-on instruction.

Entry-Level Heavy-Duty Mechanic Training

Heavy Haul Dynasty is also introducing Entry-Level Heavy-Duty Mechanic training for individuals who want practical knowledge of semi-tractor and trailer brake systems.

This 16-hour program focuses on brake components and proper brake adjustment. After completing the training, students receive a certificate documenting their entry-level competency in heavy-duty semi-tractor and trailer brake components and adjustment procedures.

The course is especially valuable for mobile mechanics, drivers, fleet employees, and other workers who need a stronger understanding of commercial vehicle braking systems. Recognizing brake components and understanding how adjustments are performed can support safer equipment operation, more effective inspections, and better communication when maintenance concerns arise.

The Entry-Level Heavy-Duty Mechanic training fee is $1,500.

Valuable Training for Employers and Fleets

Heavy Haul Dynasty’s expanded programs are not limited to individual students. Employers can use these training options to help develop a safer, more knowledgeable workforce.

Manual transmission training may help employees become more versatile when operating different fleet vehicles. Entry-level mechanic training can improve awareness of brake-related maintenance concerns and reinforce the importance of equipment safety and regulatory compliance.

Employers may also select the eight-hour or 16-hour manual transmission option based on their operational needs and internal training requirements.
